Mass tourism is a phenomenon that continues to spread even after the Corona period. Besides the popular cities, the beach resorts are the most affected. Some places are crowded in the summer, while others are in season all year round, such as Gran Canaria. It is mainly the economically developed countries whose populations can afford such vacations. In turn, the economically underdeveloped countries are mainly destinations for vacationers.
With the pictures of the beach life on Gran Canaria I would like to document the reality of this phenomenon. I do not want to expose or caricature anyone, but to depict as value-free as possible, how the people there walk around - after all, the judgment is always in the eye of the beholder.
